Eric van der Kleij

Co-Founder

Eric is cofounder of the UK’s Post-Covid EdenBase.com hub, fund and supergrowth innovation ecosystem - launching Q4 2020 and previously founder of one of London’s leading Fintech hubs - Level39.co. He is Chairman of distributed ledger Activeledger.io. He previously founded Fintech company Adeptra which was acquired by US FICO in 2012.

Eric is a pioneering Fintech and Blockchain entrepreneur who created some of the most influential innovation ecosystems and startup hubs in the industry such as the famous Level39 Fintech hub in Canary Wharf, home to some of the UK’s fastest growing Fintech unicorns, as well as leading the Tech City (now Tech Nation) initiative for the David Cameron administration, the former U.K. Prime Minister. Eric’s UK government role was reporting to the Department for International Trade and No10 Downing St on tech policy and advocacy, where he created and launched the strategy for the Tech City (now Technation.io) initiative. He also advised the Digital Switzerland organisation on the FinTech vertical of the Kickstart Innovation Ecosystem. He continued to serve for a number of years as Honorary Chairman of the UK Government’s Global Entrepreneur Programme Advisory Group and is continues to serve as a volunteer Advisory Board member of Tech London Advocates.
