Jane Lippencott is an Associate at Winklevoss Capital focused on blockchain/cryptocurrency venture, liquid, and fund investments. Jane first learned about Bitcoin in 2014 during the Hong Kong Umbrella Revolution. She gained experience in finance and venture working at SOSV’s Chinaccelerator, Nest.VC, Bank of America Merrill Lynch wealth management, and event-driven equity hedge fund China Silver. In 2016, she joined the founding team of privacy-oriented cryptocurrency Horizen (formerly ZenCash). Jane contributes as a startup mentor to the following programs: Near Protocol’s Open Web Collective; IDEO CoLab’s DeFi Incubator; CeloCamp; ETC Labs; and Cardano’s dLab. She is also an active public speaker, participating in 50+ events in 25+ countries over the past 4 years.
