Ken Seiff is a venture capitalist, founder, and investor with a penchant for identifying and investing in disruptive technology companies early. Seiff currently runs Blockchange Ventures — a venture fund focused on investing in blockchain companies that will make a dent in the world. Seiff also founded Beanstalk Ventures, a venture fund focused on early stage retail technology companies, predominantly focused on B2B software for enterprise retailers. As a founder of Bluefly.com in 1998, Seiff was one of the first to spot the opportunity offered by the Internet to build a sophisticated online retailer and continuing to lead it as a public company until 2004. He then incubated and invested in startups and was an advisor to two divisions of Amazon. In 2009 he launched Poppin, leveraging his experience to address the office supply market in a way that moved beyond the heavily commoditized model that dominated the space. The company landed Google, Tory Burch, Pandora and Theory as its first customers. After Poppin, Seiff successfully led the e-Commerce and omni-channel division of Brooks Brothers. Seiff also sat on Google’s Retail Advisory Council. Seiff holds a BS in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
